Doss Aviation and our subcontractor H&S Resources manages, maintains, and operates Government (Navy) owned fuel and cryogenic facilities and equipment at various locations at Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) Pensacola, Naval Air Station (NAS) Forrest Sherman Field (Pensacola) and its supported activities of Saufley Field and Corry Station, and NAS Whiting Field and its active outlying fields of OLF Site 8 and OLF Spencer Field are the major activities supported. Additionally, Air Installations Compatible Use Zones (AICUZ) bases or Naval Out Lying Fields Choctaw, Barin, Silverhill, Summerdale, Holly, Santa Rosa, Pace, Brewton, Harold, Wolf, and Evergreen located in the Florida panhandle and the southern Alabama region, are also supported by NAS Whiting Field.
Doss currently provides all management, labor and a fleet of mobile fuel servicing vehicles to dispense an average of 23,008,000 gallons of jet fuel annually to approximately 88,200 aircraft at the two Naval Air Stations. To accomplish this fuel servicing mission, we manage, maintain, and operate a contractor owned fleet of fuel servicing, ground product, and used oil vehicles at NAS Forest Sherman Field and NAS Whiting Field to support the facilities, equipment, vehicles, vessels, and aircraft assigned to the aforementioned activities.
Our subcontractor, H&S Resources, provides all necessary labor, supplies, and materials necessary to maintain, operate, and manage the DFSP Pensacola and its 42,929 barrel bulk product storage facilities. They accomplish an average annual throughput of 390,000 barrels (16,380,000 gallons) of product. DFSP Pensacola receives fuel by barge and tank truck and issues fuel by tank truck and pipeline to NAS Pensacola, by tank truck to NAS Whiting Field, and other Government installations and activities along the gulf coast area.
