Doss Aviation, Inc. provides management, supervision, personnel, and labor for the operation of the petroleum tank farms and fill stands at Naval Base Ventura County's three facilities located at Point Mugu, Port Hueneme, and San Nicholas Island. Our support operations include receiving, inventory, storage, handling, and issue operations of bulk products JP8, JP5, PARR, LS2 and LPG received by truck and by barge on San Nicholas Island; refueling/ defueling of aircraft, servicing of ground support equipment, and facilities using mobile refueling vehicles, quality assurance, sampling, testing, inventory management, fuel laboratory operations, and transfer of all grades product of received and issued, and operation of an automated retail service station.
We also inventory and submit all fuels accounting documentation to supply. We perform all maintenance and servicing requirements on a company-owned fleet of eight refueler/defueler vehicles at Point Mugu, two refueler defueler vehicles on San Nicholas Island, and our ground products truck equipped with an LPG dispenser that supports Port Hueneme.
